Urgently looking for Sr. PHP Developer for top leading IT co. for Mumbai location..
Job Description
Architecturing, Coding and building an enterprise Business level applications using web technologies.
Ensure that all product environments are optimally running, available without unplanned interruption, and built according to the SDLC.
Completely own a section of the live product and directly coordinate and with international clients spread across the globe.
Responsible for your own code and that of your teams.
Play a key role in technology leadership alongside with the peers and several other senior technologists.
Following processes and guidelines of application development to make it scalable, robust and usable.
Building reusable code and libraries using Object Oriented Principles.
Business requirement analysis with user group
Database architecture and design.
Maintaining and optimizing existing codebase.
Advocate for continuous improvement for teams and the organization at large, across the product value stream.
This position is a hands on, elite development role. You will be coding.
The candidate will be working on core PHP & mySQL, HTML, Javascript, XML, Smarty, Jquery etc (We don't work on any framework)
Key Skills
PHP, XML, Web Services, AJAX, Smarty,
MySQL - Query optimization, Views, Triggers, Joins, Indexes, Database design.
HTML/CSS/Javascript - HTML5 and JQuery experience would be an added advantage. Browser compatibility.
Object Oriented Development
Basic Unix and Linux commands knowledge and administration.Versioning - SVN
Recent hands on PHP development experience plus code / architecture review, ability to challenge architecture and coach team to produce best code possible.
High volume web environment experience.
Ability to partner with others. The ideal candidate will have opinions, but not be dogmatic about their delivery.
Must have people management experience (Technical and Administrative Management experience)
Able to inspire team members to produce and maintain technical standards, be their advocate, and able to mentor the team.
